Mission Outreach

Summit Baptist is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. Each year, a small team from our church travels to New Mexico to assist other missionaries in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage all of our people to respond obediently in God’s call to be missionaries, whether abroad or to minister in our own community.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members and youth get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video format. We also maintain an active Facebook for additional church communication. For any inquires about the team please email us at
Generation Now Student Ministry
Providing teaching, ministry, games, and activities for the youth group is a full time job! Adult volunteers are always welcome to help sponsor activities and to minister to the youth of our community.  Volunteers are also needed in providing the meals for each Sunday night meeting. If teen chaos is not your forte and cooking is, then providing an occasional meal to hungry tummies may be where God is leading you.  They meet each Sunday night from 5:30 – 8PM.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday night, during the youth service, the youth is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer.
Loving Hands Outreach
Loving Hands is primarily a prayer quilt ministry. However, they also coordinate many other community outreach projects throughout the year. Please contact us for more information on how to get involved or to suggest an outreach project.
